2027 Tahoe trims and engine choices
LS
The 5.3L V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management is standard.
LT
5.3L V8 standard, with the Duramax 3.0L diesel and Super Cruise with trailering available.
RST
5.3L V8 standard, with the 6.2L V8, the Duramax diesel and Super Cruise available. The RST Performance Edition uses a 433-hp version of the 6.2L.
Z71
5.3L V8 standard, with the 6.2L and the Duramax available, and a 2-speed transfer case.
Premier
5.3L V8 standard, with the 6.2L, the Duramax and Super Cruise available.
High Country
The 6.2L V8 is standard, with the Duramax and Super Cruise available.
Engines, towing and range
- 5.3L V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management: 355 hp and 383 lb-ft. Standard on every trim except High Country.
- 6.2L V8: 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. Standard on High Country and available on RST, Z71 and Premier.
- RST Performance Edition 6.2L: 433 hp and 467 lb-ft.
- Duramax 3.0L turbo-diesel: 305 hp and 495 lb-ft. Available on LT, RST, Z71, Premier and High Country.
Every engine uses a 10-speed automatic, with 2WD or 4WD. Chevrolet lists towing up to 8,400 lb with the 5.3L V8 and the Max Trailering Package, an EPA-estimated highway range of 624 miles for a 2WD Duramax, and up to 122.7 cu ft of cargo space.
Technology and seating
The 2027 Tahoe has a 17.7-in. screen and an available 15-in. head-up display. Super Cruise with trailering is available on the LT, RST, Premier and High Country. Seating for eight is standard, with seven or nine available, and Chevrolet builds the Tahoe in Arlington, Texas.
