What's new for the 2027 Equinox

• 8-speed automatic for FWD. It replaces the CVT on front-wheel-drive models.
• Interior camera. Cabin Glance and security recording are added.
• RS detail. Accent stitching on the RS is now Torch Red only.
• New color. Autumn Harvest Metallic, offered on the LT and ACTIV.

Engine, drivetrain and towing

Every 2027 Equinox uses a 1.5L turbo engine rated at 175 hp and 203 lb-ft. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. With AWD, Chevrolet lists towing up to 1,500 lb.
