2027 Ford Maverick in Newport, Arkansas
Ford hasn't published its public 2027 Maverick page or ratings yet, so this early guide sticks to the lineup: a SuperCrew-only pickup with hybrid or 2.0L EcoBoost power, the street-tuned Lobo, the off-road Tremor, and a few new packages for 2027.

What's new for the 2027 Maverick
- New packages. A Bronze Appearance Package for the XLT and Lariat, and a Lariat Luxury Package.
- Lobo tire option. A 225/65R19 sport-compound all-season tire is newly available on the Lobo.
- Security. The SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is newly available, and a perimeter alarm is now standard on the XL.
- Towing and off-road packaging. The FX4 Package now comes with the EcoBoost XLT, and the 4K Tow Package no longer requires Ford Co-Pilot360.
- Bed and spare. A spray-in bedliner becomes a stand-alone option on Lobo, Lariat and Tremor. A tire inflator and sealant kit is standard on XL, XLT, Lariat and Lobo, with a 17-in. conventional spare available.
- New colors. Neptune Blue, Gladwin Green and Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat.
2027 Maverick trims
Every 2027 Maverick is a four-door SuperCrew with the FLEXBED storage system, offered as XL, XLT, Lobo, Lariat and Tremor.
XL, XLT and Lariat
The 2.5L hybrid is standard, with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The XLT can also be ordered with the 2.0L EcoBoost and AWD.
Lobo
A street-tuned Maverick with its own suspension, enhanced brakes, performance-tuned steering, a high-capacity radiator, a Lobo drive mode, paddle shifters, 19-in. black wheels, a black roof and LED projector headlamps. Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard.
Tremor
Advanced 4WD with 4WD Lock and a twin-clutch rear drive unit, off-road suspension with extra ride height, front skid plates, orange front tow hooks, a 2K trailer hitch receiver and Trail Control with Trail 1-Pedal Drive.
Engines and drivetrains
The 2.5L hybrid uses a power-split electric continuously variable transmission. The 2.0L EcoBoost uses an 8-speed automatic in the XLT and Tremor, and the Lobo pairs it with its own quick-shifting transmission and Advanced 4WD.Engine availability by trim changes for 2027,so if you want the EcoBoost on a particular trim, ask us to check what can be ordered.
Towing and the 4K Tow Package
Ford hasn't published a 2027 Maverick tow rating. The 4K Tow Package includes a trailer brake controller, a Class III 2-in. receiver with 4- and 7-pin connectors, a transmission oil cooler, an upgraded cooling fan and a conventional spare.We'll give you the rating for a specific truck once Ford releases it.
